А ваабще по теме вот давно хотел запостить очень полезную сравнительную таблицу разных форматов LUT из инструкции к плагину Lut Buddy.
и сноски с уточняющими описаниями к таблице :
1. LUT Buddy can only write this LUT format, not read it.
2. The ICC profiles written by LUT Buddy will only work as a standard LUT if the host is converting from the outputted file to an sRGB profile. Any other monitor profile will produce different results, although you may be able to compensate for this when creating the LUT.
3. LUT Buddy for After Effects will store information for Gamma/Gain information in this format.
4. This format can support 3D LUT files that are not cubes, but sample different channels differently. LUT Buddy does not support this capability.
5. If the internal LUT is in the non-RGB version of the LUT type, a single LUT will be saved instead of one each for R, G and B.
6. This format is 10-bit, but LUT Buddy will treat it as 16-bit internally.
7. The traditional extension for a Shake LUT is '.txt', but that was a little too generic, so we adopted this extension. Shake should be able to read the file regardless of the extension, or you could always change it yourself. It must be '.shklut' for LUT Buddy to read it, however.
8. The Shake format is weird in that its scale is based on how many entries there are. So if you have 721 entries, 720.0 is considered white. To create overbrights with this LUT, you will simply have values over 720.
9. Photoshop LUTs always have a size of 256. They’re also binary, not text.
10. LUT is hard-coded to dimensions of 173.
11. Format could support other bit depths, but LUT Buddy only supports 16-bit.
12. Format could support other bit depths, but LUT Buddy only supports 8-bit.
13. File is capable of holding both a 1D RGB and a 3D LUT, but LUT Buddy will only read one LUT.
14. Format reading not fully supported. File includes a pre/post LUT. LUT Buddy for After Effects will write this LUT, but not use it on import. Instead it will use Gamma/Gain if available. LUT Buddy for other hosts will ignore the pre-LUT all together.
15. Format can be a variety of bit depths. LUT Buddy will try to figure out which one on import, but only exports 12-bit. The Inferno wants LUTs of size 173.
