плохо всем брендам.
[quot]2016 didn’t start good for the camera industry. In January Japanese manufacturers shipped 20%(!) less cameras compared to 12 months ago. Once again the fixed lens compact camera market is the main negative driver (-28%). System Cameras sold almost as good as in 2015 (-4%). it looks like 2016 will be even worse than the already very bad 2015.[/quot]
[quot]For anyone with the slightest analytical background the raw CIPA data recently is incredibly interesting. As a taste, here's Jan 2015 to Jan 2016 direct comparison figures with a bit more detail:
Compacts down 28% in volume and value. Doesn't appear to be a move to higher value fixed lens cameras, just a fall across the board.
DSLRs sales down 12% in volume but a whopping 29% in value. Average camera selling price 50.1k in 2015, 40.4k yen in 2016 (19% drop).
Mirrorless sales are up 22% in volume, and 49%(!!!) in value. Average camera selling price 40.7k in 2015, 49.6k yen in 2016 (22% increase).
Regional info:
Japan - DSLRs down by 25% volume/40% value. Mirrorless down 21% volume/15% value.
Europe - DSLRs up 20% volume/down 15% value. Mirrorless up 44% volume/75%(!!!) value.
USA - DSLRs down 41% volume/54% value. Mirrorless down 53% volume/no change in value.
Europe looks to be incredibly healthy for camera sales for both short and long term trends. Across the world though mirrorless sales are staying strong and sales show a higher average selling price - mirrorless is going pro. In contrast, DSLR prices are tumbling. This isn't a one of January trend either - it's been the story of the entire last half of 2015 too. Since sometime in mid-2015, the average mirrorless camera started to sell for more than the average DSLR and not only is it staying that way, the gap between them is widening.
We'll see if the D5/1DXII manage to change things, but the overall trend is clear and becoming clearer. Mirrorless is holding on with slow overall growth and a trend towards higher end product, and the bottom is falling out of the DSLR market.[/quot]
вполне возможно что в ближайший год-два кто-то из брендов повторит судьбу минолты.
