What part of foam rubber in my camera may be wrong?

Hello, McGee. English is easy for me...thanks! The hinge seal is bad. You need 2 pieces of thin fabric (velvet) seal for the simple repair. Do you want me to mail to you?

Yes, the hinge between the body and film door is bad. The best way to repair the OM-1, OM-2, etc is to use 2 thin (1mm) pieces of self-adhesive velvet. You can use one thicker piece of foam rubber, but in the early OM cameras, there was a seal on both the door and the body, so two pieces of foam rubbing together are not as good as the velvet. If you want, I can mail it to you...the stamp will only cost $1 and it is better than mouse pad...Please tell me if you want me to write in Russian. Well, for me writing in english is ok.
At the moment all my OM-s seems to be ok (in terms of parasite exposure). But thanx for your care in any case.
