iImport - программа для импорта файлов в iView Media Pro

iImport ver 1.1 for iView Media Pro. Build 1.1.0.33.

iImport is an application which allows you to import images from media source into iView Media Pro. It has the following features:

- import images into an active catalog or user can select the specific catalog file
to import images into;
- IPTC fields support;
- backup files during import process;
- rename files during import process;
- create a new Catalog Set in iView Media Pro and put imported images in;
- delete files after import;
- copy only option lets transfer images from media source but skips import process;
- extensible list of supported image file extensions;
- log messages during importing.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
- Operating system Windows 2000/XP;
- iView Media Pro;
- 1.5 MB of free disk space.

NEW IN THIS VERSION:
- backup files during import process;
- rename files during import process;
- copy only option;
- option to start iView Media Pro when iImport starts;
- new tokens for file name patterns;
- log messages during importing;
- installer;
- interface changes.

KNOWN PROBLEMS:
If 'Put images into a new set' option is selected, sometimes some of the images might be missing in the creared set. This issue will be fixed in the next release.

HISTORY:
Build 1.1.0.33:
- added %r1,%r2,%r3,%r4 tokens:
%r1 last character of the image file name
%r2 last 2 characters of the image file name
%r3 last 3 characters of the image file name
%r4 last 4 characters of the image file name
- now, if iView is not runnig iImport brings it up and starts importing

Build 1.1.0.31:
FIXES:
- The list of file extentions was not saved.

Build 1.1.0.29 - Release.

A plan for the next releases:
- 'hands free' mode when you can start the application and it will do everything for you automatically. No buttons pressed.
- more tokens based on EXIF information and file date/time.
