Цифровое боди Минолты ?

Эта тема раз в 2-3 недели всплывает в рассылке MUG. Последняя новость такова. На каком-то семинаре в штатах, представитель минольты на вопрос о dslr сказал, что дескать есть разработка, но до промышленного внедрения ещё оооочень далеко. Я вроде текст-то сюда кидал.

Во-первых, давайте определимся с понятем цифровое боди.
Цифровое боди может быть:
1. Нечто на что можно поставить объективы от Минольты.
2. Полностью цифровая модель от Минольты.

Теперь будем по порядку.

1. Такая уже есть. Пусть у неё мегапикселов маловато, зато они полноцветные ;-). На http://minolta.po-russki.info/ в разделе цифровые камеры -> RD-175 можете почитать подробнее. Она сейчас продаётся по цене около 1000$ новая (в Москве в Сивме и Юпитере). И то что Минольта не отдаёт сейчас лицензию Фуджи или Кодак-у на производство есть, на мой взгляд многоговорящий ;-) факт.

2. Вот тут пошли слухи и домыслы. Информацию, которую я сейчас пишу я собирал потихоньку в интернете и домысливал сам. Поэтому, можете вообще не смотреть ;-).
Представители Минольты, как говорят, сделали чёткое и понятное заявление. Состоит оно в следующем. "Цифровые камеры сейчас используются в основном профессиональными репортёрами. Минольта никогда серьёзно не присутствовала на этом рынке. Цифровые камеры (я имею ввиду ДСЛР, естественно) низшего (то есть любительского) уровня сейчас не составляют большой уровень среди продаж. Кроме того, Минольта считает, что ДСЛР сейчас - это не любительский уровень. А любительский - это DImage 7 e.t.c. И позиции Минольты на этом рынке очень сильны. В сегменте продвинутых любителей Минольта делает ставку на плёночные сканеры, коих выпускает великое множество по конкурентным ценам и которые в России почему-то не любят :(.
Минольта ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНО выпустит цифрозеркалку. Но тогда, когда её маркетологи посчитают нужным."

Ну вот, это как мнение. На истину я не претендую.

Thanks for your e-mail concerning the possibility of a digital body
for existing AF system lenses and accessories.

Recent announcements from Canon, Fuji, Nikon and Sigma have sparked
a great deal of interest in this type of product. This is good news for
the industry, so long as customers are prepared to make the investment
required in a camera of this type.

Please be aware that because [some of] these cameras utilise image
sensors that are smaller than a 35mm exposure area, there will be a
magnification factor on the focal length of the lens and a drop in
optical quality caused by the lens not being matched to the exposure
area.

Minolta does have a very serious commitment to the digital
marketplace, this has been witnessed by the sudden impact of Minolta
DiMAGE cameras and film scanners. Minolta did not make as quick a
transition to digital as some manufacturers and as such has not had the
experience that others have.

Cameras such as DiMAGE 7/7i/7Hi are a platform to test technology
on, and gain experience on optical requirements, metering, operating
firmware and systems as well as all other factors that a digital camera
relies upon.

I would like to form a database of interested parties for such a
product. I would also like to know what your expectations of a digital
SLR are, together with what equipment you have and what you would like
to additionally invest in.

More than 10MP.


2) Are you prepared to make the sacrifice of losing wide angle

I would hope that with today's CMOS technology, that full size sensors
wouldn't be a problem.

Instant proofs, reduced workflow, more opportunity. Most of the
competition
has digital because either they use Nikon or Canon...

N/A - I'd like to have at least 1/2 GB - 1 GB for a 10+ MP full-sized
sensor
camera...

Last time around, Minolta came out with a dSLR, they came out with
one for
their 2nd lowest line body, come out with one fashioned after either
the 7
or 9. At this point in the game, CMOS sensors are beating the socks
off of
CCD technology in regards to efficiency & cost.

With the latest efforts from Kodak (DCS 14n) & Canon EOS 1Ds), full
size
sensors are readily available in 10+MP in full size 35mm format.
Kodak is
proving that they can sell one for $5,000 @ 14MP & have been sold out
since
it's release.

I believe that Minolta could release a similar model with the
interface &
design of the 7 & do better...

Выпустит. Сделает всех. Однозначно.

Вопрос только в производственные мощности матриц СОНИ упирается. Или еще чьих нибудь, если сони по конкурентным ценам продавать их Минольте нехочет вместе с обвязкой. А делать дерьмовый СМОС сенсор в китае как у кэнона - это большое западло. МОе мнение. Будет перепроизводство матриц нужного формата - пойдут боди.

И живые (кэнонисты) будут завидовать мертвым
