Airport X-Ray of Film (из рассылки MUG)

Someone mentioned that now that the TSA has taken over Airport Security from
the FAA that possibly FAA regulations don't apply.

Yesterday I requested clarification from the TSA. Their answer and my
question are as follows: (and the answer is yes, you can request a hand
inspection!!!!)

Yes for unexposed or undeveloped film you must request hand searching and
they are obligated to do it. Any radiographic exposure risks exposing the
film.

Просил в Шереметьево не светить пленку - отказали, сказали что все в порядке и пленке ничего не будет. Оказались правы.
На обратном пути из англии я в силу присущего мне пофигизма вообще отправил половину пленки багажом (в том числе и 1600) Выжили, похоже, все.
